Row 2: (I did this for 52 more rows), work 2 dc in the same sc space, skip 3 stitches, sc on top of the ch 3, ch 3, work 3 dc in the same sc space, *skip 4 stitches, sc on top of the ch 3, ch 3, work 3 dc in the same sc space, *Repeat to the end, at the end, sc on top of the chain, ch 3, turn, **Repeat, I did for 52 mores after the first two rows.

Repeat this pattern to the end, finishing with a single crochet in the last stitch. Keep the foot-and-a-half tail, then bring the two ends together to sew them. Since the straightened edge will be slightly longer, skip a few stitches as needed to ensure the edges line up neatly before sewing the sides together.
