• Scis­sors

Rnd 1: ch 41, (I hook, or you can go down on the hook size to make it smaller.) Measures 8 by 8 inches.

• Start­ing in the 2nd ch from hook, sc into each chain across, at the end work 2sc (41 sc).
• Rotate your work to sc along the oth­er side of the foun­da­tion chain.
• Sc into each stitch around (80 sc).
• You should now have a total of 80 sc in the round.

Rounds 2–20: Work in Continuous Rounds

• Place stitch mark­er in the first stitch of the round.
• Sc in each st around (80 sc per round).
• Do not join; con­tin­ue work­ing in spi­rals.
• Repeat until you have 20 total rounds and the piece resem­bles a rec­tan­gle pouch.

Folding and Finishing

Fold into a Square

• Flat­ten the pouch and fold diag­o­nal­ly into a square, lin­ing up the cor­ners.
• To reach the cor­ner seam, sc 22 stitch­es or so from your cur­rent posi­tion.

 Chain Loop (Optional)

• Ch 8.
• Sl st into the same st to cre­ate a loop for hang­ing.

 Fasten Off

• Leave a long tail for sewing the seam.

Sew the Open Side

• Sew the fold­ed edge closed.
• Weave in all ends.
