Rnd 1: Start with Brown yarn, Ch 5, sl st in the begin­ning chain to cre­ate a ring. Ch 3, work 15 dc in the ring. Fas­ten off.

Rnd 2: slip knot your hook with orange yarn and slip stitch by insert­ing your hook into any space in Rnd 1, ch 3, yarn over and insert your hook in the chain space, draw up your loop three times, yarn over and pull yarn through all loops on the hook, ch 1, *insert your hook in the next space, yarn over and insert your hook in the chain space, draw up your loop three times, yarn over and pull yarn through all loops on the hook, ch 1, *Repeat around for each stitch for a total of 16 puff stitch­es, sl st into the chain 3. Fas­ten off.

Rnd 3: slip knot your hook with yel­low yarn, insert your hook into any chain space from Rnd 2 and slip stitch, ch 3, dc 3 togeth­er (it’s almost the same as 4 dc togeth­er, except it has a chain 3 and 1 less dc), ch 2, in the next stitch, *work 4 dc togeth­er clus­ter (list­ed in the direc­tions), ch 2, *Repeat around for a total of 16 clus­ters, sl st in the chain 3. Fas­ten off.

Rnd 4: slip knot your hook with cream yarn, insert your hook with your cream yarn into any chain 2 space, ch 4, work 2 tr, 

*in the next chain space, work 3 dc, 

in the next chain space, work 3 hdc, 

in the next chain space, work 3 dc, 

next chain space work a cor­ner, 3 tr, ch 3, 3 tr, 

*Repeat, at the end work 3 tr, ch 3, sl st in the begin­ning chain 3. Fas­ten off and Weave in your ends.

I want­ed an invis­i­ble seam so I made sure all the sun­flower squares in front fac­ing were fac­ing down on the table when I assem­bled the purse. I used a sc stitch to sew the squares togeth­er. Then turned it right side out so the front of the squares were on the out­side. 

Work a hdc in each stitch around the top of the purse, work 2 hdc in each chain 3 space. 

The Han­dle: h hook, Make 2
