- To begin, you’ll need to gath­er mate­ri­als, includ­ing a cro­chet hook, yarn scraps in fall col­ors, and a tapes­try nee­dle.

Abbre­vi­a­tions:
tr=treble cro­chet
dc=double cro­chet
hdc=half dou­ble cro­chet
ch=chain
sl st=slip stitch

Rnd 1: Cre­ate a Mag­ic cir­cle, work a 2 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tr in the mag­ic cir­cle, sl st into the last stitch and the pre­vi­ous tr, con­tin­ue on with 2 tr, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 2 sc, pull in the mag­ic cir­cle to close, then sl st in begin­ning stitch to fin­ish. Then chain 6 to cre­ate the stem. Cut the yarn tails and use your yarn nee­dle to weave in your ends and Fas­ten off.
