In this tutorial, we’ll use double crochet, single crochet stitches, puff stitches, and picot stitches to create intricate, lacy snowflakes. We’ll show you how to start with a magic circle or ring, insert your hook into the first chain, and use the slip stitches and the slip stitch (sl st) to join rounds. You’ll discover the beauty of creating 6‑pointed crochet snowflakes and learn how to make them in different sizes by adjusting your hook size and the thickness of your yarn.

Our free crochet patterns are designed to make your snowflakes stand out.  As you work through the pattern, you’ll come across ch‑2 spaces and ch‑6 spaces, which add to the intricate stitch pattern of these gorgeous crocheted snowflakes.
