Ear flaps: If you would like to add ear flaps
Make 2
Mouth:
F hook
chain 7, sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st. fasten off, (6 sts)
Place the mouth on the bottom center.
With Black yarn, make half circle dash lines in the corner of the mouth on both sides.
Nose:
With black yarn, sew a half circle above the mouth.
Smoke Stack:
Black yarn
H hook
ch 2, work 5 single in the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st. (5sc)
Row 1. Work 2sc in each stitch around, sl st. (10sc)
Rows 2–3. *sc in every stitch around twice, sl st. *Twice (10sc)
Row 4. *2sctog decrease, sc in the next stitch, *repeat (7sc)
Rows 5– *sc in each stitch around, sl st
*repeat until the entire smoke stack reaches 3 inches, (7sc)
Stuff it with black yarn and sew it above the face.
Black circles for the bottom of the hat, make 2, place them on the red yarn at the bottom of the hat:
H hook
ch 2, work 5 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook. (5sc)
Row 1. work 2sc in each stitch around, sl st. (10sc)
