Body: To get started, you’ll need some basic crochet supplies, including your favorite yarns in different color choices and various yarn weights, such as worsted weight, bulky weight, and super bulky yarn. You can add a faux fur pom or yarn pom pom for extra flair. We recommend using a crochet hook size that matches the yarn you’ve chosen, whether a size H or a different mm hook size.

When crocheting your top hat, use basic crochet stitches like single and slip stitches.  Stitch markers can help keep track of your progress, and a tapestry needle is handy for weaving in yarn tails and adding finishing touches.
