Let’s get started with your crochet adventure! To begin your crocheted basket, you’ll need some essential materials: cotton yarn, a crochet hook (the size depends on the yarn you choose), a stitch marker, and a pair of scissors. We recommend using worsted weight or super bulky weight yarn for sturdy baskets. You can even use a t‑shirt or strands of yarn from your stash for a unique look. Start with a magic ring or circle to create your basket’s base. Make a slip stitch (sl st) to secure the ring. Create chains (ch space) for basket handles and attach them to the sides.
