rnd 4. ch 3, (Counts as first Dc), dc in the next dc, 2dc in the next dc, *dc in the next two dc, 2dc in the next dc, Repeat from *around, join with sl st. ‑44 dc
rnd 5. ch 3, (Counts as first Dc), dc in the 2 next two dc, 2dc in the next dc, *dc in the next 3 dc, 2dc in the next dc. Repeat from * around, join with sl st. ‑55 dc
rnds 6- Con­tin­ue with, *ch 3, dc in each st around, join *Repeat to the length that is about 5.5 inch­es long. (For all sizes, Leave about an 1.5 to 2 inch­es left on the length of the hat to work the loop stitch)

Sin­gle Cro­chet loop stitch. For 1.5 to 2 inch­es left on the length of the hat, work a loop stitch around. (Watch the video to know how to do the loop stitch around the hat edge if you need help)

Hair Braids (Make two): Cut 25 pieces of 20-inch-long strands of yarn. Then, fold in half and tie with a piece of yarn in the cen­ter. You can braid it or tie it in two places about 1 inch apart. I braid­ed it, as seen in the pic­ture above. Fold the hat in half and sew on the braids on each side about 2 inch­es from the cen­ter of the hat.
