To begin, make a slip knot and create a foundation chain. For this easy pattern, we’ll use basic stitches such as single and double crochet. Follow the step-by-step instructions to crochet the iPad sleeve, incorporating a fan stitch for added flair. Don’t worry if you’re a beginner; this project is designed with your skill level in mind. Feel free to repeat rows as needed to achieve the desired length.

Pattern one, I hook, green yarn.
Rnd 1. Chain 50 connects to the other end with a slip stitch to create a circle.
Rnd 2. ch 1, sc in each stitch around, sl st in the chain 1, ‑50 sts.
Rnd 3. ch 2, dc in each stitch around, sl st in the beginning of chain 2, ‑50 sts
Rnds 4–26. Repeat between round 2 and round 3, back and forth, until you reach round 26.
Sow the bottom with a yarn needle and green yarn to close it. Keep the top open.
Loop: slip stitch with green yarn on the open center top on one side, then chain 12, slip stitch in the previous sl st. This will create a loop around the button to close the cozy.
Flower: Found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/flower-11[3], I used an h hook and white yarn, I changed the pattern a little.
Then, a sow button is placed on top of the center of the flower.
You will have a seam with the slip stitches, you can place the seam off to the side so no one can see it.
Pattern 2, I hook, Green yarn
Another easy pattern for a cozy is just chain 50, connect by making a circle, and hdc or sc around without a slip stitch (work in continual rounds) until the length you need to cover the iPad. This will eliminate the seam. You can use the flower pattern the same as above.
