The Cowl Pattern takes up to 2 1/2 Balls of Bulky yarn and an N 9.00 mm Hook size!
Start: N hook, Chain 56 or an even number to ensure it goes around your neck. Sl st to join.
Rnd 1. Ch 2, *Yarn over, insert the hook in the 3rd chain from the hook, grab the yarn, pull up, yarn over, Repeat for a total of 9 loops on the hook (total of 4 inserts of the hook in the chain) yarn over and pull through all 9 loops on the hook to create a puff stitch, Chain 1. Skip next chain, Repeat the puff stitch, Chain 1, skip the next chain, *Repeat around for 29 puff stitches. Sl st on top of the chain 2.
Rnds 2–12. or For Your desired length. *Repeat rnd 1.
I finished at 10 rounds and it only took up two skeins of bulky yarn, but if you add more rounds, you will have another skein of yarn, for a total of 3 skeins.
