To start making your cute crochet turtle, you’ll need some basic materials: worsted weight yarn in green and a contrasting color for the shell, a G and H crochet hook, safety eyes, stuffing, and a yarn needle. This easy crochet pattern begins with creating the head and body using a simple magic ring and single crochet stitches. Once you’ve shaped the turtle’s head and shell, you’ll move on to the legs, tail, and flippers—each worked up quickly and attached with just a few neat stitches. Don’t worry if you’re new to amigurumi—this tutorial breaks each step down clearly, with helpful photos or stitch explanations to guide you. By the end, you’ll have a sweet little turtle friend that’s perfect as a toy, desk buddy, or heartfelt handmade gift!
