To begin, you’ll need a few basic materials: a piece of cardstock paper, construction paper in different colors, a glue stick, scissors, and a craft knife. Start by folding your cardstock paper in half, creating the card base. On the front of the card, you’ll be working on a large, symmetrical heart shape.

Materials:

  1. Paper for making the paper heart card
  2. Additional paper for various decorative elements (if desired)
  3. Paper doilies for paper doily crafts Valentine heart cards
  4. Scissors for cutting and shaping the paper
  5. Glue or adhesive for assembling the heart cards
  6. Markers, colored pencils, or crayons for adding personal touches (if desired)
  7. Optional materials for more advanced techniques, such as quilling tools for paper quilling heart cards or other decorative elements for DIY cute heart paper card
Next, cut out a smaller heart from a different color of construction paper and fold it in half. This smaller heart will be the pop-up element. Glue one-half of the smaller heart to the inside of the card, aligning it with the center. This will create a pop-up effect when the card is opened.

Now, cut out various tiny hearts in different colors and sizes and paper flowers to decorate the front of your card. You can also add a personalized message for your loved ones.
