Crochet a Puff Stitch Square

First puff stitch petal, draw up the loop, yarn over, and insert in the ch space; twice, yarn over and draw through 4 loops and yarn over and pull through the last two loops, ch 1, 
Next 4 puff stitch petals (all in the same chain space), *yarn over and insert in the chain 3 space, pull up a loop, *3 times total, yarn over and pull through 6 loops, yarn over and pull through last two loops on the hook. ch 1, 
*yarn over and insert hook in the same space, pull up a loop, *3 times total, pull through the 6 loops, yarn over and pull up last two loops on the hook, ch 3

Rnd 3: puff stitch petal, sl st into the next chain space, draw up loop, yarn over and insert hook in the chain space, and draw up loop twice, yarn over and pull through 4 loops on the hook, yarn over and pull through the last two loops, ch 1
next puff stitch petal, insert hook in the next chain space, yarn over and draw up a loop, a total of three times, yarn over and pull through 6 loops, and yarn over and pull through last two loops on the hook, ch 1
next 4 puff stitch petals,
*yarn over and insert hook in the same space, pull up a loop, *3 times total, pull through the 6 loops, yarn over and pull up last two loops on the hook, ch 1
