**Mate­ri­als You’ll Need:**

Worsted weight yarn in var­i­ous col­ors 
 A 5mm cro­chet hook
 Yarn nee­dle

I cre­at­ed this Flower Granny Square with Medi­um Wrst­ed yarn and an H hook. It mea­sures 4 inch­es by 4 inch­es. This pat­tern can be used for many projects, such as Afghans and hats!

Abbre­vi­a­tions:
sl st=slip stitch
ch=chain
dc=double cro­chet
sc=single cro­chet
Rnd 1: chain 5, sl st in the begin­ning chain to cre­ate a ring.
 
Rnd 2: ch 4, dc, ch 1, *dc, ch 1, *Repeat around a total of 12 dc and 12(chain 1), sl st in ch 3
 
Rnd 3: Sl st into the ch 1 space, Ch 3, yarn over, insert hook in the ch 1 space, yarn over pull through 2 loops, leave 2 loops on the hook, yarn over, insert hook in the ch 1 space, yarn over pull through 2 loops and then pull through all 3 loops.
*Ch 3, In the next chain 1 space, 3dctog: Yarn over, insert hook, YO, pull through two loops, leave 2 loops on the hook, YO, insert hook, yarn over pull through 2 loops, leave 3 loops on the hook, YO, insert hook in the same ch 1 space, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, YO and pull through all 4 loops on the hook to com­plete the 3 dc togeth­er. 
*Repeat around. 12 (3 dc togeth­er) and 12 (ch 3) total, sl st in cen­ter of the 3 dc togeth­er. 
Rnd 3: Sl st in a new yarn col­or.
