R2: *2 sc in each stitch around, *Repeat around (12sc)

R3: *1 sc in the stitch, 2sc in the next stitch, sc in the next stitch, 2sc in the next stitch, *Repeat around (18sc)

R4: *1 sc in the next 2 stitches, 2sc in the next stitch, *Repeat around (24sc)

R5: *1 sc in the next 3 stitches, 2sc in the next stitch, *Repeat around (30sc)
 R6–R12: *sc in each st around (30sc) *Repeat for 7 rounds

R13: *sc in the next 3 sc, 2sctog dec, *Repeat around (24sc)

BLANKET (With G hook)

Start: in the MR, ch 2 (counts as first dc), 2 dc, ch 2, (3 dc, ch 2) x3, sl st in the ch 3. then sl st in the next two stitches, for a color change, pull the color through the loop, then sl st into the chain 2 space

Round 2 and onward (R2+):
Chain 3 (counts as first double crochet), 2 double crochets in the same stitch, chain 2, 3 double crochets in the same stitch (this forms the corner). Then, in each side space, work 3 double crochets. In each chain-2 corner space, work (3 double crochets, chain 2, 3 double crochets). Slip stitch into the top of the beginning chain 3. Next, slip stitch into the next two stitches. For a color change, pull the new color through the loop, then slip stitch into the next chain-2 corner space.
Repeat this pattern for each round.

Continue for 10 total rounds, or until the desired size 

Assembly & Details

• Sew ears to top sides of the head at the 4th round.
• Add two eyes and nose to create a face. Optional, can add whiskers with thread and needle.
• Attach head to center of blanket securely.
• Sew arms to both sides of the head, positioned slightly below the ears.
