I created these Crochet Christmas Tree Bulbs with sparkle medium worsted yarn with an H hook. You can go up or down a hook size. Increase the chain count to make this bulb larger. These crochet bulbs look so adorable on the Christmas tree.

Abbreviations:

ch=chain

sl st=slip stitch

sc=single crochet

Rows 1: With green yarn, chain 12, sc in chain from the hook, sc in each chain across. turn

Rows 2-32: green yarn, sc in each back loop, Turn

change colors with red yarn, sc in each back loop, Turn (work 2 rows of each color), then grab the opposing color and start the new row with a new color.

For the last row, sc in the back loop and connect the beginning row. I did the last row with green yarn and associated it with green yarn.

Take the yarn and needle, weave in and out with the yarn, and close one of the ends.

Stuff the bulb with stuffing. Then, take yarn and needle, weave in and out with the yarn, and close one of the ends. Create a loop on top so it can hang from the tree.
