I cre­at­ed these Cro­chet Christ­mas Tree Bulbs with sparkle medi­um worsted yarn with an H hook. You can go up or down a hook size. Increase the chain count to make this bulb larg­er. These cro­chet bulbs look so adorable on the Christ­mas tree.

Abbre­vi­a­tions:

ch=chain

sl st=slip stitch

sc=single cro­chet

Rows 1: With green yarn, chain 12, sc in chain from the hook, sc in each chain across. turn

Rows 2–32: green yarn, sc in each back loop, Turn

change col­ors with red yarn, sc in each back loop, Turn (work 2 rows of each col­or), then grab the oppos­ing col­or and start the new row with a new col­or. 

For the last row, sc in the back loop and con­nect the begin­ning row. I did the last row with green yarn and asso­ci­at­ed it with green yarn. 

Take the yarn and nee­dle, weave in and out with the yarn, and close one of the ends.
