crochet moose hat

To begin your moose hat, gather your materials, including worsted weight yarn in the colors of your choice, a size J (6 mm) crochet hook, and a tapestry needle. This pattern can be customized to your liking, allowing you to create different color combinations for a truly unique result. You can add a faux fur pom pom for extra coziness and style.

Start by creating a foundation chain that matches your head size. Use the basic stitches such as the single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), and double crochet (dc) to shape the hat height to your preference. Feel free to check our crochet hat size chart for reference.
