9 inch­es in width 10 inch­es from bot­tom to han­dle. 

Rnd 1: Chain 30 +1 sc in the 2nd chain from the loop and each chain across, 3sc in the end. Do not turn, work on the oppo­site side, sc in each stitch across, 2sc in the end. sl st in the begin­ning sc. Use a stitch mark­er to keep track of rounds.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, work 2 sc in the same stitch, sc in the next 33 sc to the end cen­ter, 2 sc in the next 3 stitch­es, sc to end, 2 sc in the last two sc, sl st 

Rnds 3–6: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st, 4 rounds total

Rnd 7: ch 3, 2dctog in the same stitch (includ­ing the ch 2), ch 1, skip the next stitch, *3dctog, ch 1, skip next stitch, *Repeat around, sl st

Rnd 8: Ch 1, *sc in the cen­ter of the 3dctog, sc in the chain 1 space, *Repeat around, sl st 

Rnd 9: ch 3, 2dctog in the same stitch (includ­ing the ch 2), ch 1, skip the next stitch, *3dctog, ch 1, skip next stitch, *Repeat around, sl st 

Rnd 10: Ch 1, *sc in the cen­ter of the 3dctog, sc in the chain 1 space, *Repeat around, sl st 

Rnd 11: Ch 3, skip stitch, *dc in the next stitch, ch 1, skip next stitch, *Repeat around, sl st in the chain 2. 

Rnd 12: Ch 1, 2sc in each chain 1 space, sl st Rnd 13: Now for the rest of the pat­tern Repeat Rnd 7 through 12 to the desired length of your bag. 

Then end with 3 rounds of ch 1, sc around, sl st. Fas­ten off and Weave in your ends.

Han­dle: chain 160, sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and each chain across. Sew in the han­dle on both sides.

Sew in a but­ton in the cen­ter. Behind the but­ton on the oth­er side. Chain 16 and slip stitch in the same stitch. This loop will go around your but­ton. You may need more chains or less, depend­ing on the size of your but­ton.
