In the Mag­ic Ring, ch 1, work 3 sc in the cir­cle, pull close. 
Row 2: ch 1, work 2sc in each sc, Turn
Rows 3–6: *ch 1, sc in each stitch across, Turn *Repeat for 6 rows total. 
Row 7: ch 3, hdc in the same stitch, ch 1, skip the next stitch, hdc in the next stitch, ch 1, skip next stitch, hdc in the last stitch, Turn
Row 8: ch 1, 3 sc in the chain space, 2 sc in the next two chain spaces, 3 sc in the last chain space, Turn
