Start with the Toe of the Stock­ing
 
Rnd 1: Ch 2, work 6 hdc into the 2nd chain from the hook, sl st ‑6 hdc
Rnd 2: Work 2hdc in each hdc around, ‑12 hdc, work in con­tin­u­al rounds with­out a slip stitch.
Rnd 3: *Work hdc in the next hdc, 2 hdc in the next hdc, *Repeat round
Rnd 4: *Work hdc in the next 2 hdc, 2 hdc in the next hdc, *Repeat around
Rnd 5: Change to Red yarn with a slip stitch, sl st into the next stitch, hdc in the same stitch as the sl st, *hdc in the next 3 hdc, 2 hdc in the next hdc, sl st *Repeat around
Rnds 6–15: Hdc in each hdc around, *Repeat this round for a total of 10 rounds
Rnd 16: *hdc in the next 4 hdc, 2 hdc in the next hdc, *Repeat around
Rnd 17: hdc in each hdc around
Rnd 18: Change to Green yarn, The heel, sl st with the Green yarn, hdc in the next 18 hdc, turn
Rnd 19: hdc2tog decrease, hdc in the next 14 hdc, hdc2tog decrease, turn
Rnd 20: hdc2tog decrease, hdc in the next 12 hdc, hdc2tog decrease, turn
Rnd 21: hdc2tog decrease, hdc in the next 10, hdc2tog decrease, turn
Rnd 22: hdc2tog decrease, hdc in the next  hdc 8, hdc2tog decrease, turn
Rnd 23: hdc2tog decrease twice, hdc in the next 2, hdc2tog decrease twice, Fas­ten off.
Rnd 24: Change to Red yarn, Slip stitch into the pre­vi­ous Round 17, hdc around and up and around the edge of the Green heel and back around the red pre­vi­ous round 17. slip stitch once, then con­tin­ue with con­tin­u­al rounds.
Rnds 25–42: With the Red yarn, *hdc in each hdc around, Repeat this Round for a total of 17 times.

Rnds 43–48: Change to Green yarn, slip stitch with green yarn, slip stitch into the next hdc, hdc in the same stitch as the sl st, *hdc in each hdc around, slip stitch, *Repeat this round for a total of 5 times.
