I cre­at­ed this Rain­bow Wash cloth fol­low­ing ROY G BIV; which is red, orange, yel­low, green, blue, indi­go, and vio­let col­ors. I used pink instead of red and dark blue for indi­go.

Rnd 1:  Start with Pur­ple Yarn, Mag­ic Cir­cle, work a chain 3, 11 dc in the mag­ic cir­cle. sl st to Join, sl st in the next stitch. ‑12 dc
Cro­chet a Mag­ic Cir­cle with Dou­ble Cro­chet
rnd 2.  Sl st with Dark blue yarn, ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in the same st. as join­ing, 2dc in each st. Around. Join with sl st on top of chain 2. ‑24 sts.
rnd 3. Sl st with Light Blue yarn, ch 3 counts as the first stitch, *2dc in next st., dc in the next stitch, repeat from *around, join with sl st. ‑36 sts.
rnd 4. Sl st with Green yarn, ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in the next st., 2dc in the next sts., *dc in the next two stitch­es, 2dc in the next stitch, repeat from *around, join with sl st. ‑48 sts.
rnd 5. Sl st with Yel­low yarn, ch 3(counts as a dc), dc in the next two stitch­es, 2dc in the next st., *dc in the next three stitch­es, 2dc in the next stitch, repeat from *around, join with sl st. ‑60 sts.
