 then you could use a G hook
ch 5, form a ring by join­ing the first ch with a sl st
Ch 45, this chain will be for the loop to hang the puff, sl st into
 the cen­ter of the ring, slide the loop over when you add the
 40 dc in the ring in the next round.
Rnd 1: ch 2, work 40 dc into the cen­ter of the ring, join with a sl st
Rnd 2: ch 2, 4 dc in each st around, join with sl st
Rnd 3: ch 2, 4 dc in each st around, join with sl st
Rnd 4: ch 2, 4 dc in each st around, join with sl st
Fas­ten off and weave in the ends.
