  • Any yarn
  • Crochet hook recommended for your yarn
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle

Abbreviations

  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • st = stitch
  • tr=treble crochet
  • dc=double crochet
  • sts=stitch
  • 2trtog (2 Treble Crochet Together Decrease)

    1. Yarn over 2 times.
    2. Insert hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop.
    3. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops.
    4. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops. (Leave the last 2 loops on your hook.)
    5. Yarn over 2 times again.
    6. Insert hook into the next stitch and pull up a loop.
    7. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops.
    8. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops. (You should now have 3 loops on your hook.)
    9. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.

Rnd 1: In the Magic Ring
Ch 2, work 14 dc in the ring, sl st
Rnd 2: ch 5, sl st in the second chain from the hook, hdc in the next, dc in the next, tr in the last, skip two stitches, sl st in the next, repeat for the next point,

Rnd 3: Border: *sc in each stitch until you get to the corner, sc into the chain space, ch 2, sc in the space, *Repeat around sl st
fasten off and weave in your ends
