**Materials You’ll Need:**

- **Cotton Yarn:** We recommend using cotton yarn for its durability and absorbency, making these coasters perfect for catching condensation from cold drinks.

- **Worsted Weight Yarn:** You can also use worsted weight yarn for various colors in your coaster set. It’s a great way to use up small amounts of leftover yarn.

- **F and H Crochet Hook:** This size is ideal for creating tight stitches in your coasters, giving them a professional look.

- **Stitch Marker:** To keep track of your stitches and rounds.

- **Tapestry Needle:** For weaving in loose ends at the end of your project.

**Basic Stitches:**

- **Single Crochet (sc):** A simple crochet stitch to create a sturdy and even fabric.

- **Double Crochet (dc):** A taller stitch that adds texture to your work.

- **Slip Stitch (sl st):** Used to join rounds and create a seamless look.

**Techniques:**

- **Magic Ring:** Begin your crochet project with a tight, adjustable ring.
